NYC seems like a place where it’s impossible to keep a nice car. Sure, you can buy one, but what will it look like 2 years later? Unless you keep it in a nice garage and only use it when you leave the city?

I found out that many try to save their car with big bull bumpers front AND back.
But it’s not as bad as European cities I saw where it seems mandatory to bump into every car around when you park

If you can afford to drive an i8 in Manhattan you can afford a private garage and ding/dent removal and odds are you’re getting a new one every year or two on lease.
It’s not uncommon to see some real expensive exotics parked on the street in NYC. I f you’re going out or running errands or whatever it’s much faster to park on the street.
